Full day trip to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf
course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 hrs. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available. Day 4 Srinagar / Delhi / Jaipur:

Day 5 In Jaipur :
After breakfast sightseeing of Hawa Mahal and Amber Fort. Amber Fort, which is very beautiful structure and well, preserved 16th century built on four levels surrounded by ruins. Among the many splendor of the fort is a small room with ceiling covered by tiny mirrors. Also enjoy the unique experience of elephant ride to the fort. Day 6 Jaipur / Agra :

Basilica of Bom Jesus : This contains the tomb and mortal remains of St Francis Xavier who was on a mission to spread Christianity in the Portuguese colonies of the East. The Professed House is next to the basilica and is a two-storeyed laterite building covered with lime plaster.

Day 1 Gaya / Bodhgaya:
Set your watch back 2hr 30min to Indian time. Upon arrival Gaya airport meet and transfer to Bodhgaya 10kms - The holy Place at Enlightenment. Upon arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay Hotel Lotus Nikko or Hotel Residency or similar.
Day 2 Bodhgaya :
Bodhgaya where the prince became a seer twenty-five centuries ago, a prince of a tiny kingdom on the indo-Nepal Border, as dissatisfied with Life. He wandered for many years and then came to a spot in a forest where he sat under a Bodhi tree, the saplings of which can still be seen in the temple premises. There in burst of illumination, he discovered the meaning of existence and became Lord Buddha. The place is Bodega. Full day visit of the Mahabodhi temple is an amalgation of many cultures and centuries. The highlight of the temple include tall stone lotuses, figures of Buddha sitting in different postures on the walls, his footprints on the stones and a colossal golden Buddha in the sanctum sanctorum. The Bodhi Tree is situated in the premises of the temple, is the one under which Buddha attained illumination. White, Green and Red flags tied onto the tree form a canopy over seven sacred shrines, which symbolize the seven weeks that Buddha spent here. Various world sects of Buddhism have built temples here; therefore it is possible to see the chanting and services of Tibetan, Chinese, Thai and Srilankan monks in close proximity. Day 3 Bodhgaya / Rajgir / Nalanda / Patna:
After breakfast proceed for Rajgir.Rajgir was the Capital of Magadh Empire around 800Bc. This is evident from the remains of the cyclopean dry stone that once enclosed the ancient city. Visit the Ajatshatru Fort, Venuvana and The Bamboo Grove where Lord Buddha spent some time. Located close Is The Jivakamarvana Monastery (4-3 rd C Bc). After this take the cable car ride to visit the Visva Shanti Stupa Built by Japanese on top of Ratnagiri Mountain. From here you can have a good view Of The Griddakuta Hill (The Hill Of Vultures) From where Lord Buddha, delivered many important sermons and also of The Sattapani cave, where the First Buddhist Council was convened six months after the death Of Lord Buddha. Afterlunch, depart for Nalanda. The site Of Nalanda was One of The Greatest Monastic Universities of The Ancient World University Established In 5th Century BC. Later visit Nalanda, the most ancient remains of the university where number of foreign students studied once upon a time. Later visit Patna museum. O/N hotel Maurya Patna or Chanakya or similar
Day 4 Patna / Vaishali / Kushinagar:
After breakfast drive to Kushinagar via Vaishali. Vaishali is believed to be the First Republic Of The World, having an elected body of representatives hold special significance for buddhist devotees. The Buddha preached the radha sutra to the eighty four thousand faithful gathered there. Women were ordained for the first time into Buddhism. It was at Vaishali that the famous courtesan of the lichchavi empire, amrapali, became a famous devotee of the lord. She once entreated The Lord to grace her house. When Lord Buddha graciously accepted, The Lichchavi Princes asked her to exchange this visit for a hundred thousand gold coins. Amrapali refused and after The Lord's visit, She was purged of her impurities and became a bhikshuni. A hundred years after Mahaparinirvana, the second buddhist council was held here and a stupa was erected at Vaishali to house one eighth of the enlightener's relic. Have hot Lunch at Chakkia. Continue drive to Kushinagar. On arrival check in to the Hotel. Overnight in Hotel.O/N Kushinagar. Lotus Nikko or Similar.
Day 5 Kushinagar / Kapilavastu / Sravasti :
After breakfast, sightseeing of Kushinagar. It was here the Tathagata, the reciter of truth, breathed his last with the last words, "behold now, brethren, I exhort you, saying, decay is inherent in all component things! Work out your salvation with diligence! A temple dedicated to the event - the Mahaparinirvana temple today stands amidst a serene 'Sal" grove. As if still reminiscing the great demise. Also visit Ramabhar stupa, which is supposedly the spot where Lord Buddha was cremated and his relics divided into eight equal parts Enroute stop at Kapilavastu capital of the Sakya Clan. Here is where Prince Siddarth Gautama spent his childhood and saw pain, sorrow, disease and deaths. Later he embark on the path of Salvation to seek for the truth.
After Lunch Proceed to Saravasti. Visit Sarvasti Garden, which is an important pilgrimage for Buddhists. Lord Buddha believed to have spent 25 rainy seasons here preaching his teachings. O/N Maya BalrampurHeritage Hotel or Lotus Nikko.
Day 6 Saravasti / Lumbini :
After breakfast we proceed to Lumbini (Nepal). while going to Lumbini stop at India/Nepal border for visa/Immigration formalties. Arrive Lumbini check in to the Hotel. After lunch sightseeing of Lumbini - The Holy Place of Birth, Emperor Ashok, in the twenty first years after his coronation visited the birth place and raised a pillar on the Spot. O/N Buddha Maya/Nirvana.
Day 7 Lumbini / Varanasi:
After breakfast drive to Varanasi about 299kms 6 to 7 hours drive. Lunch will be served on the way at Gorakhpur. Arrive Varanasi and check in hotel. Hindustan International or Miraden Grand. Afternoon drive 10kms to Sarnath - where Buddha preached his first sermon after he had attained enlightenment at Budhgaya. Gautama Buddha with his five disciples formed the first Sangha alongwith Yasa of Varanasi and his 54 friends. The beginning of he celebrated Mantra "Buddam Saranam Gachami", owes its origin to Sarnath. Visit the Ashok Pillar with its four guardian lions that has been used as independent India's national emblem. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Hindustan International or Miraden Grand.
Day 8 Varanasi:
Early morning boat ride on the River Ganges exposes one to some of the carefree, colourful and revered aspects of Hindu life as Sun rises over the far banks, The Ghats come alive with Hidu worship and the sounds of the temple bells and see the cremation ghats. Walk through the narrow lanes, past Gold plated Vishwanath temple also enjoy some time for shopping for banaras Silk materials and souvenirs, in the afternoon transfer to International Airport to catch return flight.
